"Been a client for four years. When new asked for meeting with agent, still waiting. Had a question last month, secretary could not answer, asked for agent to call us, never called, tried two more times and email. No answer. What horrible customer service. Changed agents and was greeted warmly and promptly and got our questions answered."

"Steve can't seem to make it to work. He's been my agent for probably 9 years and on multiple occasions we go to his office during stated business hours, but he isn't there. Last Friday was one of those days. After driving up to his office and finding no one there and no note on the door, my wife ( a retired judge for the state of Nevada) called and left a polite but unhappy message. Then she called state farm corporate and they tried Steve's "back number" ... still no answer. When someone finally did return our call they advised us they were not authorized to write the policy and we would have to wait for Steve who was not answering his phone, and never did. We were trying to activate the marine policy they had quoted us so we could go boating. My wife is a retired judge for the state of Nevada. She left a polite business like message expressing her displeasure with the owner's lack of respect for his posted business hours and explained there had been many instances where we were unable to complete our business with State farm because of it, causing either multiple visits or multiple phone call Steve decided he didn't want to accept responsibility for not being at his office during business hours so he told my wife to find another agency. After 25 years with State Farm we are going to do better than find another agency, we are going to find a new insurance company and we are going to start with the Progressive agent who was in his Henderson office on Friday and worked his tail off to get us on the lake, for a hundred dollars a year less than our State Farm quote. The lesson here is when someone does not value their customers, and you are the customer, it is better to find a business who does. I have 4 cars, an RV, a boat, a home, a business, and a million dollar liability policy so I am sure there is an agent somewhere that will treat us with the minimal amount of respect due to a faithful customer."

"We are building a new home in Boulder City and have been with State Farm for many years. We had a desire to work with a local SF agent in BC and Steve West fit the bill for what we were looking for. He takes time to listen and provide advice that is reasonable. Many agents are looking to always upsell, which turns us off immediately. Having spent years in sales, I can spot this immediately. Steve gave us the time and information needed to make the right decision."
